The transformation of a stable into a cozy rural home.

An old horse stable, located on the ground floor of a farmhouse in the Manresa area (Barcelona), has been renovated to become a cozy country house.

A challenging and exciting project in equal measure, as the original stable was in a deplorable state, with no reusable elements, and it was practically necessary to start from scratch to give it a new life. The stone walls are practically the only witness to the past that has remained untouched, although the interior design is full of nods to its rural essence.

This transformation exemplifies how traditional materials can be combined with modern techniques to create unique, sustainable, and vibrant spaces.
